Danbury Mint Twin Towers Commemorative Sculpture Nyc World Trade Center Replica
Vintage Danbury Mint sculpture of NYC's World Trade Center Twin Towers, made after they were destroyed by terrorists on 9/11/ 2001. This commemorative sculpture is made of hand-painted cold cast porcelain (resin) and is meticulously detailed in every aspect of the Twin Towers and the surrounding lower buildings. It even has the bronze Sphere sculpture that stood in the plaza. The brass plaque on the base reads "September 11, 2001 - "We will not waver; we will not tire; we will not falter; we will not fail.
Peace and freedom will prevail. It measures 10" tall by 9" wide by 7 deep, and weighs 2.5 lbs. This Twin Towers is in great shape with its masts intact, although the US flag on top is missing. A spectacular replica of America's lost skyscraper.
