I found this poster in an even earlier Nike Poster Catalog, 1988, I've include a photo of that catalog page for visual reference only. I was Extremely fortunate to come across a stash of Vintage, LIKE NEW Sport posters, including this one!

Sometimes you find posters in there original tubes, but it is obvious they have been crushed at some point. With this stash of posters, they were stored vertically and are in PERFECT SHAPE! Some still have the original labels on the ends of tubes! Unfortunately the foil "NIKE POSTERS" label did not have good adhesive and have come off many of the tube's ends, including this one. This poster is in OLD STOCK, Never Displayed Condition in its Original Factory Plastic Tube - Never Been Removed!!

Dale Murphy is a former Major League Baseball outfielder, catcher, and first baseman.

During an 18-year baseball career, 1976-93, he played for three different teams, but is best noted for his time with the Atlanta Braves. Murphy won consecutive National League Most Valuable Player Awards (1982-83), the National League's Silver Slugger Award four straight years (1982-85), and the National League's Gold Glove Award five straight years (1982-86). He is an inductee to the Oregon Sports Hall of Fame, Georgia Sports Hall of Fame, and World Sports Humanitarian Hall of Fame. Dwight Eugene "Doc" Gooden (born November 16, 1964), nicknamed Dr.

K, is an American retired professional baseball player. As pitcher, Gooden played in Major League Baseball for the New York Mets, New York Yankees, Cleveland Indians, Houston Astros, and Tampa Bay Devil Rays from 1984 through 2000. Gooden is a four-time MLB All-Star, and three-time World Series champion.

He won the National League (NL) Rookie of the Year Award in 1984, as he led the league in strikeouts, and then won the NL Cy Young Award and a Triple Crown in 1985. While a member of the Yankees, Gooden threw a no-hitter in 1996. Gooden made his major-league debut on April 7, 1984 with the New York Mets at the age of 19. He quickly developed a reputation with his 98 MPH fastball and sweeping curveball, which was given the superlative nickname of "Lord Charles", in contrast with "Uncle Charlie", a common nickname for a curveball. K", by analogy with basketball's "Dr.

J", Julius Erving, and also in reference to the letter "K" being the standard abbreviation for strikeout, which soon became shortened to "Doc.
